It’s so bitter, but in a good way. Way more bitter than Elder. I know because I had Elder like two hours later at York River Landing.
Younger such a hop heads delight….hardcore dank, woody-citrusy, fruity, dry and insanely bitter….loved it even more on the revisit. Got lucky late last year at Great Lost Bear. Wish I could get the flavor of Younger in a Pliny abv…lol Interesting note is no Blind Pig draft anywhere I’ve seen. No complaints, but I did well with bottles- one of my all-time favorites.

Younger was just on draft places, no bottles. Sounds like Carl’s is pretty much dry at this point from this Russian River drop
The Untapped list is correct. You just have to tap more, on the full list and it comes up for Feb 25th. We were there until close tonight(8pm) for a quick dinner with the lady. Pliny the Younger was everything I always wanted it to be. To me, it’s like 3 steps ahead of Pliny. Not boozy or sweet. Floored how good that was! A bucket list item finally checked off. She’s off to the Caribbean next week and said the least she could do was drive, so I could enjoy a second pour. Which was more than enough. The Achilles heel of younger is certainly that ABV at 10.5. Rare triple IPA 2nd pour for me. Got to do a side by side with (I think DDH)Pliny. It was no comparison. She tried a sip of Younger and also loved it. As of bar close at 8pm, both are still on tap.
On the ride home down rt1 to Portsmouth I asked her to stop at the Sunoco in Kittery on South side next to Luxury vapes. It’s the gas station just past When Pigs Fly. They had plenty of Pliny, 101 Pilsner, Trillium, etc. Russian River bottom right corner. When you walk in the doors look left into the cooler cooler closest to the outside wall and usually in the bottom right corner.
