Quaanto on draft.. its thick and heavy. Oddly smooth at the same time. Hops showing up big time.. cant say 12% IPAs are my thing but its enjoyable. I liked it more out of the bomber years ago before my tastes have changed a little bit. Not mad at it though, it's good
I saw several places near me on the FFF beer finder that were sent kegs and im in the Louisville area so it seems like peeps should be able to find it if they want to
Alpha Kong is already gone. So the moral of the story is that if you’re thinking about buying some of the 500ml bottles, buy quickly and experience regret later.
Quaanto was gone asap too. Im not local anyway so I just gotta hope for kegs to go out. Last time I was in the kiosk I asked the dude how kiosk traffic is and he said they actually do pretty good business outta there. Good to hear.
Hopefully they’ll have something lighter than these 10% Dipas/Tipas. 12oz of those are too much let alone a 500ml/16+oz bottle.
This 30th Anniversary rollout is the best thing to happen to Alpha King. Just found some 2/16 bottles and grabbed three. I'd drink it more often if the bottles weren't consistently several months old. That beer might benefit from them just keeping the retro label for good.
New forthcoming collaboration beer with Municipal Waste. Label art rocks. Not familiar with the band's catalog but came across the song (mostly an intro to the album it seems) which I presume is the inspiration. Turn this up and wake up the neighbors.
