Good morning BAs! Long somewhat chilly early morning walk done…it’s coffee time - Taxman’s “Bourbon Barrel Bean Counter”, a barrel-aged imperial Belgian-style brown ale with coffee, cocoa nibs & vanilla:



Canned 12/12/25. Poured at 55.6°. A Tavour purchase. Strong coffee nose. Chocolate, bourbon, coffee. Some caramel. Vanilla as liquid warms. I’m not picking up any Belgian notes, but quite tasty nonetheless.

More warming outside today…by Saturday we should be up into the low 80s. Have a Thirsty Thursday y’all, and Cheers!

Good day BAs! Thanks @elNopalero for opening the bar! Sunny so far today, it's allegedly going to reach the mid 30s sometime today - Goodbye to some more snow! Soon I'll have to deal with all the oak leaves that have been covered with snow since the day after we returned from TX last November!
My next-door neighbor died while we were gone, a couple of weeks after his wife of 70+ years, and we didn't even know it until late December (After his wife died, he was moved into his daughter's home across town). I can only hope whenever we get new neighbors, they'll be as friendly and considerate as Beau and Eula were.

A good beer, but way over carbonated. Every can I opened, foom! Like mount Etna. Naturally, I was in may living room the first time. All over the damn carpet. Thank God for my carpet shampooer.
