Simple pleasures.
Thursday normally isn’t a beer day, but as I am cutting back with sugar and caffeine, I demand some kind of compensation!

ohh I could go a custard tart right now!
But they are cheese bread roll, cut in half, streaky bacon rashers, topped with Maasdam cheese & grilled.

 

I could do with a decent cigar right now lol

 

...a fine cigar is one of those nearly indispensable staples of life (said some wise guy )...

 

Doesn’t sound bad either. And bad eye on me. I thought it was pastry.

 

Free or me time are far and few, beside the odd early beer then it’s all downhill from there.

Just joking, once you have found a hobby and passion it typically last a lifetime nevermind the events and positive one that happens to someone. Trying to balance my life a bit; we are lucky to have grandparents close enough for a spare afternoon occasionally.

...over 50 years ago, my old friend Russell and I shared an apartment in Mansfield, OH...one day, one of the four units of the old building caught fire...we suffered significant smoke damage and had to move on...the pictured cassette (1974 release) is one of the items that reminds me of this...it still plays yet the case still has smoke damage on the case spine...ah, the good ol' days...
