Picked up some fresh-ish Trillium in South Carolina.

 

Teku? I don't even know you! (With a tip of the hat to @LesDewitt4beer and @TCgenny). Thought I'd try mixing it up. Haven't busted out this vessel in who knows how long. Kinda piss-elegant. But makes the Hopslam seem to last a little longer.

 

Roaring Table Shimmercut WCIPA (Citra, Columbus, Mosaic, Riwaka, Simcoe). Roaring Table makes some of the best clear IPA in the Chicagoland area. This one is pure crisp, bright dank citrus and piney hop goodness. Damn good.

Fat Heads 17th Anny Golden Ale - happy 17th to this specific location of one of the best around town... this one is quite delicious and I'm sad I will never have a chance at another glass.

One of the weirder days in life, as my ladyfriend and I submitted the application to move in together... wanted to take the long trip to celebrate. Shame it's so far.

 

Beer #3 exceeds the “be hoppy” standard required on west coast Wednesday. @EmperorBevis this may be the beer you seek for bitterness.

The teku I have is OH branded, so when I have OH I use it.
My favorite glass was an OH / Buffalo Bills belcher glass that a family member jerk washed big pans and broke it in the drying rack. Still hurts.

Glasses add so much more to beer drinking (sez the guy slammin' a can of Schmidt) Cheers! I like that Teku shape but I'd be hard pressed to not break a tall stem like that with my 4 thumbs.

It’s hard to believe the 8 wild animal jerky snacks are nearing an end. Today’s afternoon snack, OSTRICH jerky and a Bud Zero. My kinda snack!

Budweiser Zero – today’s can is as clean and refreshing as the rest of the pack! Yesterday I reported back that the IBU of Budweiser Zero is unpublished. Some of the other super light beers and non-alcohol versions can be around 10 IBU, so I’m guessing that is around the right amount. Just a guess though.

I can remember my local encounter with Ostriches. Across town there's this guy with a few acres with 4 or 5 Ostriches running around. I had to pull the car over, they were looking through the fence. First of all, let me tell you, these things are HUGE! Tall! Sort of scary and aggressive too, they kind of come at you looking through the fence to the point of jumping back. I say let's eat 'em!

Ostrich Jerky, or in this case really Beef/Ostrich jerky – hickory smoked and delicious! Who knew chewing on anything Ostrich could taste so good. Just one more to go!
