What beer are you drinking now? #4925

Not style I normal would drink, but someone did something nice and not bad at all.

 

Have a good Tuesday. I was up last night listening to Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett. Still 4.25/5. Very character rich story and colorful wording as usually for the author. A very unique and memorable story. John Lee narration does the character voices perfectly. I have been referencing a summary a bit to keep track of the plot timeline. I am up to around 60%. Will finish tonight for sure. Julia is making the Bacon and Cinnamon Rolls for dinner again.

Got my new ear cups on my AKG K240 Studios last night. Love them a lot more for comfort and the fabric keeping the greasy feel off. The headphone drivers are a bit further from my ear because they are deeper, but also my big ass ears aren't being smashed against the plastic plate of the head phones. It's like changing a bike tire to replace, but faster. The old ones were cracked and the foam was all smashed in from my ears. Had a bunch of gross dead skin on the inner lip of the cups too. Also I replaced the cable with a coiled one a couple years ago, and my chair has never ran over the cord ever again!

State of Brewing Shuteye Peak Pale Ale from Aldi. APA for under $14 a 12 pack. Run of the mill Chinook and Fuggles tasting pale, it's as resinous as an IPA, but very enjoyable. Would get another pack, but the Great Pines IPA would be prefered over this one.

One more at SingleSpeed: A-Two-Hoo, a Tootsie Pop-inspired sour. Raspberry, cherry, vanilla, and cocoa. It probably seemed like a good idea to somebody at some point, but it's just not doing it for me. BA says it's a wild ale, but there ain't no funk. We want the funk!!!

I am still alive and doing my best to be an ass. I think I have been quite successful at that.

I had a good doc. Sliced me from navel to my groin but managed to spare most of the nerves needed for continence and erections. Although now I am shooting blanks.

I still have to go for an annual PSA to make sure the cancer has not spread.

A lot of the time when we have to use the toilet we just have to crap with all the kittens nursing in front of us. After we let them roam free with the other 4 cats now at 6 weeks, they going all over the place, but mostly stay in the 2nd bedroom. Just got baby locks for the cupboards. Spearmint is still not weaned, but he's also the only male and the smallest.


Modelo Chelada Pina Picante. Big Pineapple juiciness with a crisp clean lager finish, and fairly strong linger of pepper spice and heat. Refreshing, flavorful, and festive. I already reviewed all these in the 24 ounce cans a while ago. Would buy another 12 pack. 4.1/5

Gratitude robust porter. Made some reduced fat,reduced calorie and increased protein content brownies which came out much better than the last attempt.
