    Got to see them with Devil Makes Three as a birthday present last month, really wish they played in VT more often! Vocal mix is a little wonky on this recording, but it's a great tune :grinning:

    Solid afternoon/evening of drinking while watching the Pats game. Started off with my last bomber of Switchback Ale, a solid, very drinkable pale ale. Moved onto the Sierra Nevada Northern Hemisphere Ale, loved this beer, must get more ASAP. Then popped my bottle of 2011 Mystic Descedent Ale. Nice brew, held up nicely. Finished off the night with a Sierra Nevada Narwhal, a solid imperial stout.

    It's pretty good in its own right. You can't compare it to an AleSmith BA, Old Raspy BA, or an Eclipse BA, but if you couch more in terms of Old Curmudgeon, which I find to be a superior ale, you might find Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale very pleasant and well done. It's just a more delicate version of the style, notwithstanding the Bud-drinking college students that thought they were drinking Utopias 10. :wink:
