I enjoy this less with each sip. WTF is an imperial sour? There's no info on the can.

EDIT: Untappd says this is a 13.9% beer. It doesn't taste 13.9%. Will be able to better determine the truthiness of that after the next beer. If I go to bed early, it's definitely 13.9.

Another tremendous rendition of German style beer from Bierstadt - Slow Pour Pils 4.7%. And, a much fresher version than I had previously - 2/26/26 canned on date. This draft version must be heavenly. Prost!

    1) Drekker Good Company Helles (4.8%): A Helles lager from North Dakota with flavors of grains, yeast, bread, faint honey.
    versus
    2) Hofbrauhaus Helles Lager (4.9%): A German Helles lager with flavors of bread, honey, earth. (Correctly matched the two blind)

Helles Lager battle. First is Drekker. Some nice subtle honey tones here, but overall drinks clean. Next Hofbrauhaus. More Munich malt and honey here. More complexity and smoothness overall.
    Winner: Hofbrauhaus Helles Lager

So, yeah, that imperial sour is really 13.9%

This sounds odd but really works.

How do you sample these? Do you pour both and switch back and forth, or do you sample one then the other?
