Crazy. I'm guessing they have a lot of part time workers, so lets just guess median salary of $50k. That's $30,000,000 per year in just salaries
Just a quick google search. I imagine Greater Boston area is even higher. The median household income in Massachusetts is approximately $103,960 to $106,000 as of 2023-2024 data, placing it among the highest in the nation. Individual median wages are lower, with recent estimates around $92,500 annually.
If you think about it, they do not have a proper taproom in Boston yet. This solves that. Now, the question is how they handle to go sales. Do they bifurcate and have Pru as to go (already have the setup) and Faneuil as taproom only?
Yeah total guess by me. My logic was that they seem like a company that would have a base wage well above the minimum, and also the top end wages on average being higher as well. The total outliers would be excluded with median, which, to your point, might actually bring it down. We'll never know, though
Front page of boston.com https://www.boston.com/food/food-news/2026/04/23/tree-house-brewing-faneuil-hall/ If approved, the site would include a brewery, distillery, and beer garden.
Does that means more that they would be able to sell beer, liquor based drinks, and have an outdoor space? Like there's no way they're wasting space brewing there, right?
I'm pretty sure Trillium Fenway has the same set of licenses, they might have a 1 barrel setup or some shit but that's about it.
It would make sense for TH to keep the garage pickup at the Pru (I can't think of a more convenient quick pickup option) while shifting the beer garden to Faneuil Hall. This morning I looked at the TH website, the "More Info" option for Boston. In the FAQ, the last Q was "Is this permanent?" with the answer "The Prudential Pop-up will be open through 2026." This suggests they will keep the beer garden their open to year-end then switch over to Faneuil in 2027, assuming they get all the permitting in place.
Slight detour, but I went to Tewksbury Saturday. Holy crap with the kids, babies, & parking! 90-Minute wait for pizza, but who's counting?
I haven't been to Treehouse since the Monson days when you had to wake up early, wait in a crazy line, and walk away with (maybe) three cans of Julius and three cans of Green. My jaw dropped when I walked into Tewksbury on Tuesday. The fact that you can walk up to a kiosk, order whatever cans you want on a touch screen, they come down on a freaking beer elevator, and the beers are still so solid, at this scale! Ya'll are lucky to have such access to world class beer. The only thing coming close on the west coast is Monkish. Now to figure out getting two cases back on the plane to SF.....
JJJuice Project Citra + Galaxy is the closest beer to Society & Solitude 4 I've ever had, and that's saying a fucking lot. Definitely get it if you can.
Much like the 90-minute waits for pours at Charlton in the past with only 10/24 taps running, it boggles my mind why they didn't add more pizza ovens.
