I spent lots of time in college losing at euchre to blue hairs at the bar. I don't think I missed any classes playing, but I definitely lost sleep. Good times.

 

Fresh KJ from the inimitable @Roguer. Every time I have this beer, I'm blown away all over again. This batch is up with the best I've ever tasted: super-complex, with tastes that evolve on the tongue. Gonna sound weird, but there's a dank, almost dirty-sock, back-end on the aroma that I'm really digging. IYKYK.

Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald 7/28/26 bb date = 1/28/26 canning. Top tier American Porter all the time. Charred and nutty/biscuity malts balanced with earthy/piney hops, and a chalky/resinous drying finish. I need to buy this more often.

My bad but hitting the bourbon hard tonight. This beer sucks. A big difference from their 60 Minute IPA. Anyway, youngest sister called. Wants to visit. Awesome! Also wants me to accept my wife of 50 years did pass away two years ago and I need to get out there. I have no idea how to do that.
