Bottom line I'm getting a consistent performance with my 2023 Cellar Review/ Mostly fruit, which is excellent, faint rye barrels appear late, but not sharp like fresh. Cracked this glass, guessing while washing it last. Really liked it, noticed while drinking, so it's sadly gone, but really enjoyed it over the years.

I'm sipping on my last bottle of Hoptimum packaged a little over a year ago. I can't help but say that it has some Bigfoot attributes, imho.

Another day of intermittent rain - looks like a good day to clean a couple of turtle tank filters. In girding my grid for the upcoming chore:

Happy hump day off ba. A much cooler and windy spring day here. Beer, food, and house chores on the docket today.

Into it w/ Express way, ddh ipa (peacharine), trillium. Very smooth w/ a juicy/creamy feel. Strong fruit notes of tangerine, peach, and stoned citrus fruit. I personally feel that their ddh beers, regardless of the hop, are exceptionally well done.

Not dated, but these usually hit w/ a month or less on’em,

 

Had a couple Icelandic room beers that I didn’t finish while we were there. Now they’re London room beers! This is basically just a macro lager; it’s about middle-of-the-road for the style.

I'm back with another Orval. I really need to go back to the store that carries it and pick up more. Before it goes awol again.

Right along here ba. Roman Empire, ipa (citra/nectaron), trillium. Second can of dis. Decent citrus fruit and slight dank notes. The mouthfeel is just way to light- spritzer like- and rather off-putting. Won’t be buying anymore.

Drowned Lands Kinsfolk doppelbock

 

A bit of a god damn Trillium day here ba. Big bird, dipa- hop profile is a mystery- I’m guessing citra/mosaic. Nice and tangy hop notes,

date guy must be on vacation,

 

Tree House - Dreamer hefeweizen to start the day here. Pretty light, crisp and refreshing with creamy wheat malt, notes of banana bread, bubblegum, peppery clove spice, light lemony orange citrus, mild orchard fruity esters like apricot, apple, pear, and some traditional earthy grassy noble hops. Really fresh right now, this will be super nice when the weather gets real hot and humid around here. This could be an easy outdoor crusher if I hold on to a couple cans or get some more. This might not be as rich and full-bodied as a Weihenstephaner, it is a good interpretation of the style though especially from a local brewer. Cheers everyone!

Big Nose IPA at Cheesecake Factory.

 

JJJuiceee Project Citra Galaxy now, a total juicebomb filled with tropical citrusy stone fruit notes and some foresty diesely dank earthy herbal pine. Full bodied, heavy and thick, with some fruity notes of pineapple, passionfruit, mango, peach, lemony orange citrus, white grapefruit, subtle lychee, a hint of caramelized bready malt, and dank floral earthy herbal grassy diesely pine. Real nice DIPA that evolved well over the last few weeks. Cheers!
