Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out.

That being said, I'm assuming I'll still have to go up to Pittsburgh if I want to try on tap. I've checked a couple of recommended places closer to "home," but so far I've been less than enthralled by what I've found. Oh well...

I live in Montgomery County. The day I can't breeze into Wegmans at my leisure and pick up a six, or stroll into a bar and see it on tap might be the day I quit drinking beer (probably not, maybe).

We will see how long Hunterdon hold on to it before they out it on our shelves!

Anyone know the case cost at the General Store? Plan on stopping by this afternoon.

I know they don't plan on distributing kegs until next month, but I was wondering if that applies to the brewery as well. I would really love to try some fresh draft NN at the brewery if it's available.

44.99, which is apparently the same as in distro...so yeah, I'm not going out of my way to the brewery this afternoon.

No draft anywhere, including the brewery, for a few weeks.

I was hoping to stop by after Stone Soup on 1/27. By then do you think? (though of course I'll call them before heading over).

    Thanks!

I love Lagunitas Imperial Red, but I am thinking that it is no longer around as it is no longer listed on the Lagunitas website and it was not included on their 2013 Special Release schedule.

I am assuming they will have cases available to purchase at these tastings?

I don't know the answer (though it would seem crazy for them to hold a tasting at a grocery store if the beer wasn't available for purchase), but just wanted to point out that you can't purchase more than 2 six packs at a time in grocery store or bottle shop. Of course you can apparently just go out to your car, drop off the two 6 packs you just purchased, and then go back inside to purchase two more 6 packs, but for whatever reason, you cannot buy a case of beer at Wegmans.

“but for whatever reason, you cannot buy a case of beer at Wegmans.” It is because of the class of liquor license that they have. They have what is euphemistically called a “Deli’ license. The maximum you can purchase in a single transaction is 192 ounces.

    Cheers!

P.S. A few months ago I purchased a single 4-pack of BCBS for 25 bucks at my local Wegmans. The gentleman who rang me up told me that a prior customer bought six 4-packs (150 bucks for those of you counting!). He had to make multiple trips in and out.

So was anyone able to pick up cases anywhere other than the brewery today?

If anyone sees this in Pittsburgh, please bump the thread. Thanks.
