For those still waiting on orders to ship, I got this update today: "Thanks for checking back in, and I completely understand the frustration given how long this has taken. While we were able to briefly resume shipping at the end of April, the full transition process and backlog ended up being more extensive than originally anticipated. The good news is that the transition to our new fulfillment partner has now been finalized, and we’re beginning to transfer backlog orders over for shipment. At this point, your order remains active and in queue. While I still can’t provide a firm ship date just yet, orders are finally beginning to move again as we work through the backlog." So hopefully some shipping notices soon.
I got the same response 10 days ago. It seems like all they’re doing is copy and pasting the same response to anyone that reaches out.
I agree, I've gotten multiple responses and at this point I have no idea what's the truth. I'm mostly frustrated with the lack of any proactive messaging. I wouldn't even know there was a issue if I didn't email requesting an update.
Soie Reserve Excellent. Surprisingly similar to my fresh notes. Holding up great for 6 years. Rich and mellow with great Ani flavor. Madeira very soft.
https://mybeerbuzz.com/the-bruery-adding-the-vesper-bell-midnight-autumn-monster/ Interesting that Vesper seems to be oaked but not bourbon. However it should differentiate from the Fourth Bell. Those two were previously sounding identical. And is the other a blend of Midnight Autumn Maple and Monster stout? Or did they actually barrel age midnight autumn maple?
Stopped by the Bruery tonight and had Amburana Gem, Musket, and Fat Twosday. They were all really good. I was pleasantly surprised by Fat Twosday, but Amburana Gem was not quite as good as I was expecting.
Holy cow I just got a shipping update here in Texas from The Bruery. The Long Night may be ending. Hallelujah!
Drinking the new release of Churriosity, and I am not a huge fan. Compared to previous versions, this one seems watered down. The price is also insane, and there are big mistakes with this everywhere (I've actually talked to The Bruery about this). When they first released this, it said barrel-aged in the description. It is not. I sent them a message and they corrected it. However, most shops are charging $22 for this, including at the taproom!!! I think it's because people think it's barrel aged. It's only $14 on the website!
This is the second time they've done this. A real head scratcher. They've released churiosity four times. It was only BA the first and third time. But the name is the same. I wonder if they meant to BA and maybe the batch failed and was lost, so they hastily rebrewed? Or maybe it was just a paperwork error from the start? I'm surprised it's bottled though since they seem to be out of bottles, given the May member bottles are still unavailable. I'm assuming that's also why nothing new went on sale today.
Seems like they've had some logistics issues this year, between bottling issues and shipping issues. Hopefully the second half of the year is better. I'm ready to enjoy some Bruery beer and I've got a few orders to enjoy soon I hope. I passed on churriosity because of the price for non barrel aged and I'd love to see them use more cans for releases in the future.
Well, I got a shipping notification from my Shop app and the status of the order says, "Fulfilled" but all of the beers I had in that order are now back in my cellar and there's no notification anymore. Least SOMETHING is happening.
Mine hasn't changed, but my order didn't include any cellar items. It just says fulfilled and "on its way" but I don't have any tracking information.
Last time bottles were delayed (around the tariff nonsense) they told us they import them from Germany. The timing here makes me think it's related to Iran. So it might take awhile... And I'm assuming it would be really expensive to retool their line for different packaging. Although at some point maybe they have to if they run out of tanks to store the beer.
Another update! Seems like my beers are out of my cellar and all of their separate orders show "Fulfilled" now. I'm actually thinking things are really moving now. No actual tracking number yet, but I'm feeling more confident things are leaving the brewery's doors now.
Okay final update I’ll say on this until I get my beers in. This email went out on June 1st: “We're excited to share that shipping to your state is resuming. Over the past several months, we've been working through a transition to a new fulfillment and carrier solution designed to better support long-term shipping reliability. That transition is now complete, and we're beginning to process and fulfill outstanding orders once again. As we work through the backlog of outstanding orders over the coming weeks, orders will be packed and transferred into fulfillment. Once your shipment has been prepared, you'll receive tracking information and a shipping confirmation email. We're confident this new setup positions us to provide a more consistent shipping experience moving forward, and we're looking forward to getting beer back into your hands. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support throughout this transition. We truly appreciate it. If you have any questions about your order or need assistance, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected]. Cheers, The Bruery Team”
