That the line is getting to be a constant feature and the staffing hasn’t adjusted. The team there hustles but you get really good weather days with like two people behind the bar
As for lines, the Salem location always amazes me. Literally a block from Touristy part of Salem and always parking, chill, and the outside looking out on the water isn't bad either. PLUS, sausages and other goodies!!
Pitch Lined Pils returned today at both locations. Also noticed a Sommer Bock is on too. Lojko also was amazing as usual. Glad I had two pours this past Sunday at the festival, it's not on their tap list at the moment.
Yup, still on at Salem too. Phew. Pitch Lined is tasting great. Less hoppy than the typical Czech Pale to me, quite sweet but in a good way. Getting a lot of lemon notes in this one.
Anyone going to lager fest on Saturday? I missed it last time, very excited for it. Weather looks great if a bit hot. Perfect lager weather.
If I could find a place to stay Sunday, Brighton is enticing. Don’t care if it’s raining either. Just want the beach day Saturday. I always wonder how people attend these events and drive home after?
I'll see you there man! Going with my brother. You going tonight too? I can't make it unfortunately. I Uber everywhere, no matter the cost (well, to a point). It'll probably be about $75-100 and split between me and my brother. Well worth it.
Google Maps says that's 15.7 miles for me to walk. I run to Idle Hands from time to time which is 9 miles...but yeah I'll Uber. Come say hi to my brother and I. I'll be the guy in the shirt and shorts. No seriously, drop me a DM if you want to say hi. I'll be wearing clothes tomorrow, just not sure what yet.
Yeah, I should be there tonight. We bought a house in Watertown last month, so I think I have to do some painting first today and then I'll probably bus over. Looking forward to some stichfass!
Yeah, we were painting the kitchen when the meteor exploded over the weekend. Moment of panic thinking the furnace blew or a tree fell on the house.
Yup, panic inducing indeed. I was in Chelmsford so didn't hear it. I did pay for landscaping though for last Friday only to wake up and see it all undone by our spring nor'easter. Thank God I have Heady in my fridge.
I slept on getting a lager fest ticket like a bozo. If anyone ends up with an extra, I'd love to take it off your hands!
