I found 3 Fiddlehead IPAs and 2 All Day IPAs in a cooler that hadn't been used in at least several years in the garage. I put them in the fridge but it was a total fail. Drain pours all.

Three cans of Urban Artifact’s Capy Snack Fruit Punch. I bought the variety pack and all of the other flavors were fine but the fruit punch one had so many sold floating particles it looked very unappealing. I think they were old.

A couple of years ago a buddy of mine bought me Alaskan’s Smoked Porter. He didn’t know that I really don’t care for smoked beers. I really tried to give it a shot but after two drinks, down the drain it went.

My first craft beer drain pour was in 2022. Little Beasts Brewing “Huldufolk” rauchbier. I was outside and just dumped it in the grass.

$60 Nachos by Hoof Hearted. Took two sips and dumped the rest. I should have done it with everybody wants some nelson by hoof hearted but didn't. I don't know if they were old or bad cans but they were just sweet, horrible stuff.

Sam Adams Cherry Wheat. It tasted like I was drinking a cherry Luden's lozenge.

    JUST NOW:

Friend gifted me a 2025 Event Horizon. 10% ABV. Bitter on top of bitter. No layers or character. Ain't got time for that with what's in the fridges.

    Drainpour.

Does a "saved from a drain pour" count? My friend bought a six pack of the PBR Pickle beer. I figured, what the heck. First sip, I'm thinking this in not for me. Second sip, nope. I tell him I can't do it and I am about to pour it out, but he said he'd finish it. More power to him. That was nasty.

Aye, IMHO that qualifies as a drain pour.

This is a beer I have never tried, but have been curious about for a long time. Reluctant to try it for two reasons: I won't like it so will pour it out, and, what if it turns out I really love it!?

Somehow this beer has stuck around for a long time, think it was available in the Midwest in the 90’s even. I too had been curious for years, had it as part of a sampler 10 or so years ago, absolutely awful. Fakest cherry taste imaginable. The other bottle laid at the back of folks basement fridge for years untouched.

I thought it would be like a hefe with cherry, but it was cherry syrup.

It was not drinkable at all.

Against the Grain Luh a vil pale ale. Flat, lifeless, hints of cardboard oxidation.
    Canned early April
