I just got back from Philadelphia, and I would have to cast my vote for Philly. Beer Heaven. 'Nuff said.

I also just returned from Philly and agree. Victory Brewery knocks IPA's out of the park!

Absolutely Portland. Maybe I'm a little biased but I've visited San Diego and used to go to Philly a lot because it was so close to my college.

But really, San Diego if we are talking the whole county.

The city where I am currently drinking a beer...

But seriously, I'm liking KC more and more with the increased availability that is happening. It's great cause we have two states right close to each other so one state gets some things and the other different things. Plus Boulevard and Free State are right close.

Raleigh or Durham. I can get about 80% of the beers of fame off the shelf. Also, the locals are sought after enough to complete trades. The hyper local stuff is really good as well.

It starts and ends here. Everyone and their fucking grandmother sends us their beer....even when they don't distribute it to their own goddam region. Even when some breweries don't distribute to the entire state of PA, they still send here year round. I believe PA receives beer from more out of state breweries than any other state except NY. Toss Philly Beer Week on top, and if there's a better state for beer, I want to know what it is. Granted, I'm not talking about best state for breweries...I know we don't compete with say, Cali on that level. But everyone out there sends their shit here anyway...including Russian River. Just my opinion, but I think it's Philly plain as day.
