We are traveling to Pittsburgh from Columbus on Sunday morning and returning Monday night. We have Pittsburgh planned out but we are looking for places to go in between there and here. Mainly close to route 70 in ohio, West Virginia or Pennsylvania. Any ideas?

Not sure of places on Interstate 70 in Ohio and West Virginia, but I can recommend two places closer to Pittsburgh which you will pass. Both are just off of Interstate 79. The first one is Burgh's Pizza and Wings located off of the Bridgeville exit. The second is The Bottleshop located off of the Kirwan Heights exit.

The only notable stop I can think of would be Weasel Boy, in Zanesville?, but I don't know the hours of operation.

I go to Weasel a lot as I only live 25 minutes away.

Go to a House of a thousand Beers in New Kensington, Pa. Its 15 minutes east of Pittsburgh and our best shop. Near by that is Beermuda which is a dive bar but down stairs they have an impressive hidden bottle shop. I would also make a stop to Fat Heads and Casey's in the city for draft beer. As for local craft beer east end brewery & church brew works are worth it.
