HAhaha probably one of the funniest comments I've read.

I enjoyed a Lagunitas Red earlier. Will probably have another one later tonight and maybe a Dbl Daisy Cutter or and Odell's Red.

Actually, I met a few other BA's at the local craft beer joint for lunch this afternoon around...11:30 AM. So I don't suppose I have much room to talk. LOL

Somewhat local brewery, Charleville, from SE MO, updated their IPA, according to my sources at the local bottle shop, so I picked up a sixer today. I'm into my second one now and they have nailed it. Hoptimistic IPA is the name of their brew and it is quite tasty.

    Prost!

I've got a big ol' berkshire butt getting it's day at the spa getting massaged in a few.

Also have a Bell & Evans Chicken, getting a rub down and a shower in beer. Going to smoke it with a can filled with Southern Tier 2X IPA in it.

To get rid of the taste of the Shandy, I'm have a New Belgium Blue Paddle Pils and it is doing the trick nicely.

I didn't like Nelson either. But I don't think I'm a fan of Nelson hops. This however, is awesome. Way....awesome.

Had 2 Hoptimums while waiting for the grill to get hot enough for the bigass t-bone. Double Trouble with dinner, now contemplating what's next. Aprihop, perhaps?

    Cheers.

Started off with a Nugget nectar bottled on 2/13, and am now drinking another bottled on 3/20. The month old one was actually better.

A man after my own heart. I rubbed both the brisket and the butt in my favorite rub. A combination of espresso powder, dutch process cocoa, ancho chille powder and a bunch of other goodies. Then I make my No. 5 sauce which has apple cider vinegar, ketchup, worcestshire sauce, brown sugar, and drippings from the meat. Christ...I just drooled a little. LOL

Damn, that's good to here. I'm stoked that Ballast Point has came here to OH. VaS is my favorite porter(no BA, I'd have to give that to BA Shipwreck) and this Sculpin....is well....fucking awesome. Now Alpine needs to expand!

Quick story. Porters are not one of my favorite styles. In fact, I generally despise them. I've stopped even trying. Recently a friend of mine told me about Ballast Point Victory at Sea, and I just shrugged. Told him I'd picked up 4 bottle before, but just to trade for 4 bottles of FFF Behemoth. He shared one with me, and I'm now destined to buy cases upon cases of the shit. Stuff is closer to a stout, and I adore the shit.
