Since the last site update when Hads were added to beers, the margins on beer pages are no longer lined up correctly. Maybe that's not the right technical term, but here's a picture. The text is highlighted so it can be seen against the black background.

Can I correct this with a setting change or whatever? I'm using IE9 on Windows 7 (and I'd rather not use a different browser). Maybe this is a known issue and I've missed it on an update?

Definitely do not see that issue but I almost never use IE - works fine for me using Google Chrome (haven't tested any other browsers).

Does this happen on all beer pages or just some? If just some, can you provide a link for the offending page?

Might be worth the experiment to see if the same thing happens if you use another browser just to help narrow down the problem.

The only use for IE is to download Firefox or Chrome :grinning:

I do not see the same thing on Win XP with IE 8. Nor do I see the issue with FireFox 10 (WinXP or Mac), Safari 6 (Mac), Chrome 24 (Win XP or Mac), or Opera 12 (Win XP).

It's only happening on individual beer pages, not the main beer page or any other page. As I click through the beers on the main page, most beer pages are displayed like this but the odd one comes up normally. Eg: Whatever, Nevermind- Tired Hands Brewing Company comes up normal while both Framboise for a Cure and SN Bigfoot come up wrong.

I can get another browser for using BA. I just thought if I'm seeing this problem, others must be too? Maybe not.

This is happening for me too, but I attribute that to being forced to use IE7 at work, on other browsers it is fine.

Certainly seems like an IE issue.

    Same, but IE9 at work.

Thanks. If it's only the beer pages it could be a simple IE HTML issue. I'll take a look and follow-up with the thread.

    To those who use IE:

It looks like I missed some tags. Please do a hard refresh of the pages in question and let me know if it's been resolved or not.

    Thanks.

It's definitely one of those quirky IE CSS issues. (I hate IE.)

I made a couple of updates. Do a hard refresh and check now. If it doesn't work ... I've got a couple of other things that I can try.

    Thanks.
