Any Heady Topper limits at Alchemist?

Production is supposed to increase in a few weeks, so maybe they'll go back to no limit.

I dont have a problem with a three case limit. Last time I went, I took orders for a bunch of people and came back with 13. If I drive up with a friend, we can still get 6 total.

Since I've often heard that The Alchemist says "Thanks for distributing our beer" to people, what's to stop someone from buying 30-40 cases and driving it back to their state?

 

Was just there this past Monday. Overhearing discussions, seems like they def. have a cap on cases, but had no problem selling 3 to the dude in front of me. (my bro and I walked out with 1 each as well)

Was up there Tuesday and they said that the first round of triple production will be ready in the middle of February. There will be no (reasonable) limit and you can go up any day instead of just on Mondays and Thursdays when they are canning. Hopefully they won't sell out anymore. The distribution area is going to expand also, hopefully closer to nh and I heard boston will have more also.

 

Those pics of a trunk full are old, they use different 4-Pak holders for the automated canning for last month or so.

 

Bought 2 cases on Thursday 1/17 at noon.

 

That was probably me in front of Bleepbloopblap on Monday. I grabbed 3 but they mentioned a 5-6 case cap for now, at least when I was there. Many happy friends.

 

I certainly hope you're kidding here because I'm fucking sick and tired of not having any Heady to buy.

 

This happened to me to back in the fall. Stopped on a Sunday and they had no cans left. I was so disappointed.

 

I'm pretty sure he's going to load up a 53 foot trailer!...

I actually still think they'll sell out each week.

 

I heard that the Alchemist is going to start letting the Goose Island vintage line distribute and handle their beers. They will never run out, but no one will be able to get the beers while it sits in a warehouse for 6 months.

 

Just follow them on Twitter. They post as soon as they sell out. Doesn't help much on a long drive I suppose but at least you can scramble to plan B.

 

There was a 1 case per person limit when I went yesterday, I think it was only because of the holiday weekend though....

 

The expansion rumors are 100% true. Tripled production soon. So much new equipment in that place I don't know how they fit it.

 

No limit that I know of, which is why it sold out within less than a day and a half after canning when I was up there.. unfortunately I didn't any.

 

I'll reconfirm that there was a sign this past Monday in front of the register indicating 1 case per person on account of the "holidays."

The plural on it surprised me, since it was MLK day. Not sure if they reused an old sign for the long weekend, or if its been up longer than that... I didn't ask.
