    yup! deschutes finally hit chicago two weeks ago so i decided to grab a few single to sample, i've heard good things about black butte and obsidian (which they didnt have unfortunately). ill be cracking that one tomorrow or sunday.

    I just received my very first trade this afternoon. A big thanks to Kodi for his help getting me some California stuff that we cannot get here in the Chicago-land area. It's going to be a kick ass weekend ! ! !

    6 x Pliny, 2 x Blind Pig, 1 Alesmith IPA, 1 Ballast Point Sculpin and the Sculpin glass to go with it. SWEET! :grinning:

    So not all most recent haul, but new additions are Hopslam, KBS, Zombie Dust, The Oracle, Harvest Ale, Dragons Milk, B Craft and Big Red Coa thanks to Rolandboy and woodward!!

    Now I just need to start drinking some of this beer

    Four new brews and three with which I'm familiar...

    My store had Avery bombers on sale for $6.99, so I picked up Seventeen, Eighteen, and Nineteen, and an Uncle Jacob's Stout (17.42% abv? Whoa...):

    And I also had to try the Ruthless Rye (since I've seen it on the forums a lot lately) and a Northern Hemisphere Harvest:

    And finally, my first ever oyster stout, Marooned on Hog Island, which I felt compelled to just chug out of the can for some reason (maybe 'cuz I was hungry? Maybe cuz' its a can?)
