Had a bottle of Nebraska Melange a Trois, and a bit of Unibroue's Grande Reserve.

Next on tap, a remote tasting with the minutemen of 2010 Coffee BCS. Will keep you posted.

Incredibly late start for me, and since Three Floyds does not distribute to Oklahoma, I jumped all over this collaboration…never had a Buckwheat Ale either, this is mighty tasty. Cheers ~

Sam Adams Old Fezziwig (finishing up the Christmas beer), SN Ruthless Rye (will look forward to this one next year), Troegs Nugget Necktar (very good, but still not sure what all the fuss is about; maybe I should try the second release?)

Nice choice; one of my favorite pale ales, right up there with SN Pale Ale and Daisy Cutter.

Had my first Velvet Merlin last week in California. Very good, just like all Firestone Walker beers.

Don't you worry, Raspy will find its way into the lineup very soon!

Haha! I had a hard time not starting with one!
Glad I opened this Buckwheat ale first though, starts sweet but finishes hoppy, very interesting brew overall.

Cincinnatus 2011 for the Baylor/Xavier matchup. X showed some great fight after being down 22-4 but just couldn't break through. Fun game to watch.

Just finished a Hudy Bock while during KY/Ind, another great one in the making. Cracking open a What the Wheat as hoops winds down, Kentucky in control this time around with the boys of Bloomington.

Being originally from Cincinnati I was hoping to see the Bearcats and the Musketeers battling in the final game, that would have been epic! Been a long time since I drank a Hudy…Cheers!

Tonight's beverage of choice is a One Tun Imperial Stout from Firehouse, here in the SF Bay Area.

I've had this elsewhere before, on draft, but it's been quite a while. Not that I had any problems with it then, but the deliciousness here is even better than I remember. Maybe it's because I've chosen to pair it with a televised Giants spring training baseball game.

Had the Velvet Merlin last night. It was decent but had a thin body I thought. Would have been really good with a fuller mouthfeel.
