Really glad you liked it Bill. Saved a can of PAKO's IPA for my birthday in a week - high quality brew

Went to Goose Island Clybourn. Golden Goose Pilsener (Meh), Green Line Pale Ale (Love it), and CBC Belgian IPA (Good way to cap off the night).

I've noticed a lot of pictures of beer lately, on BA. They seem life-size, or possibly even bigger. How is this done? (Note:my technological skills have not advanced much past the Polaroid Swinger). Thankx, in advance.

Yuengling Lager. Bottle. Blecch. (It was a department function.)

But I did have some Middle Ages X from a growler and it was truly excellent. I guess the most recent batch is all Warrior hops, and it's pretty great. 10% ABV is damn sneaky in that brew, far more so than Hoptimum or other DIPAs that big.

Not big on porters myself, but I have to say that Hill Farmstead Everett really made me think twice. Of course, I suppose that a porter from a brewery whose pale ale is hoppier than most IPAs would be more robust than most stouts.

Opened a bottle of the Schneider version of the Schneider-Brooklyn collaborative brew, Hopfen-Weisse. Interesting, but too sweet.

I was at the Brooklyn Brewery tonight for the debut of Oishi (3.9%ABV table version of Sorachi Ace, on tap only at the brewery). My cousin and I decided to duck into a bar on the way home to see if there was anything cool being poured, and lo and behold we were rewarded with $5 glasses of Abacus. After getting home and just chilling for a while I'm almost done with a Duck Rabbit Wee Heavy.

Elder bottled 3/19/12 has blown my mind. Palate wrecker was a bad choice for a second beer becausr it just can't compete.
