Founders coming in 2nd Q

Of course Founders expands to Texas less than a year after I move away! I hope they distro to my beloved San Anto so I can pick some up on my visits. (It's bad enough that there's breweries all the way in Austin who will distro to Dalls and Houston but skip San Anto!)

What I'm looking forward to now is Texas breweries being able to distribute to the West Coast!

There has been one quote here from wolffman17 that has any "real" evidence, still just talk. Other than that it is all interwebs talk. I can go on and on about how those crazy interweb "facts" don't happen. Again, I am not trying to harp on you guys. Just saying people should not get all geeked out until a store actually says they are getting any of the products. People in the "know" can take solace that there is info they have that the rest don't. FW, ST, Founders, GI in the past, and anything else included. My last post. I know you will come back and say "but I told you it is a fact." That does not make it "fact."

 

With the distributor behind them I'd bet big on tabc not screwing this up.

Slim. I've only read of founders getting hung up in Alabama I think with Dirty/Backwoods "Bastard" and using the toddler on the Breakfast Stout label. Neither would be a concern in Texas based on already approved labels (Arrogant/Double Bastar) and countless dessert wines for the latter.

 

I hear you, but whether it happens or not I'll take my "sources" word over a stores any day. Regardless, I think we can all agree we HOPE we're right

 

From what I understand it's only periodically. I saw Mad Meg and I wanna say Petite Prince on the shelves recently but none of the new releases from the past few months (Funk Metal, Gotlandsdricks, even Wytchmaker for that matter).



I should clarify that we do get Lone Star and Shiner products, but I'm not actively seeking those out!

That's a helluva lot more commitment than we've ever seen from Southern Tier, but I'm personally not gonna get too excited until BEK gives us SKU info, which is just about as good as seeing it on the shelf from my standpoint.

Well my Dad is a photographer and swears by Kodachrome, so that is what came to mind I don't have a preference. Good God I am long winded.

 

Trust me, TABC has delayed plenty of BEK products.
