I'm hoping so sah, i've never had OEO though! It's certainly made by Harviestoun, and it's the same abv!

Quick question - has anyone seen Sierra Nevada's Ruthless Rye around? I was in York's best beer shop the other day and saw this with a price of £12.70 a bottle (regular 12oz size). I thought that was mindblowingly steep and wondered if they'd made an error. Has anyone else seen it and how much was it?

£12.70 a bottle? That must be a typo.

Should mention that I'm partaking in Tesco Finest Belgium Abbey Beer (brewed and bottled by Huyghe) and its surprising very acceptable to the point of virtually being good.

Wow fellas, if you see Burton Bridge Empire Pale Ale around pick one up, I got one cheap the other day (BB of Dec '11) and it's a fantastic beer!

    It feels so British!

Finished it last night and for an own brand it was pretty good. And it seemed more than just 6.5% ABV too. Nice surprise.

I actually think the Tesco Belgian Wit and Abbey beers are under-praised gems. Better than Leffe and Hoegaarden, certainly. Every now and again they go on offer at £2 a pop and always grab a few.

    Robinson's/Elbow - Let's Build a Rocket Boys
Tatton's Gold and the last Wincle beer for me to try
    Wibbly Wallaby

I'm going to try and get to Waitrose in a bit to see what Thornbridge they have.

The only obstacle to this is when I move into a real flat and have to start paying rent, leccy, gas, heating etc. :slight_frown: Still i'll try and make you all proud!
Try BoE, the have out of date Kipling at £1.75 a pop in the reduced to clear section (a bit out of date but damn cheap for Thornbridge)

Just got back from Edinburgh City Centre and came home with Green Flash West Coast IPA, Stewart's Cauld Reekie and De Molen Tsarina Imperial Porter. Pretty juiced up for these.

the poet who doesn't know it goes to Brain's Rev James
and a bottle of Fullers London Porter makes it a round 10 BUT....

I quite like Rev James, one of the nicer canned beers you can get.
    Those all sound lush!
