One of the local bottle shops has it on tap....I'm assuming I should get down there and try it?

 

Ran out of Torpedo, havin' a High Life (there's 3 different labels on these bottles)! Listenin' to Tool, cleaning the apt up getting ready for a visit tomorrow from my grandkids (the light of my life). Prosit, BA brothers and sisters.

 

I had both for the first time this week and was similarly wowed both times. A side-by-side tasting would be amazing.

 

Had it on tap about a month ago....amazing.

 

I'm drinking St Bernardus ABT 12. This is the first one of these that I've had in years. I think it was my entry beer for Belgians around 8-9 years ago.

It is still delicious...but god damn, that's a lot of sweet. I should have gotten a four pack of small bottles instead of a 750.

 

Next up Sam Adams Irish Red.

3 weeks after the enjoy by date, but there's absolutely nothing wrong with it. Delicious.

 

Getting through some Punkin and Pumking tonight...I bought way too much of that stuff when it came out. Oh well.

Rock on! I'm from DC, hence being a Caps fan (moved to Milwaukee for a job/s). If you come to WI, you'll be hard press to meet better people than the midwest and Badger fans. DC had too much of a transient populate to have same dedication to sports. Granted populate density helped make up for that and don't get me wrong, I love where I'm from, but bottom line, good fokes here in MKE and they LOVE their sports.

This is the second issue I've had with Maine.
Last week I bought a few bottles of Peeper. Most were to include in some trades. I didn't check the date because the store had been out of stock and just got them in that day. The bottled on date was Oct 12. It was 3 months old. II ow that is a distributor issue and not a brewery issue but it is still a knock.
I looked in another store that just got in. Same bottling date.
