Now onto Sam Adam's flagship brew, their Boston Lager of course. I'm pretty sure that if every beer they brewed were up to these standards, they wouldn't catch as much strife from the craft beer lovers. A solid brew, nothing more, nothing less, but the scene could use a lot more Boston Lagers and a lot less Cherry Wheat,/Fat Jacks if you catch my drift.

Love the Boston Lager but really dig the Boston Ale. Big fan of Sam Adams.

The rest of the night so far:

Really damn good. I dont get the hate on this one, actually surprised me. Very robust roasted chocolate flavors with a nice malty bock complexity and minimal cloying sweetness. Dessert beer.

Highly excellent! at over 3 years old this gushed violently(I probably lost a quarter of the bottle to my desk, pic shot after cleanup and the second half of the bottle pour). Great complexity and balance with funk and tartness still makes this one of my all time favorite wild saisons.

I haven't had this in a while. Holy crap, this is easily one of the best RIS I have ever had, and I can tell this had some age on it. Hop bitterness was moderate, but the huge roasted flavor complexity was incredible. DAMN

Next the Sam Adams White Lantern. Definitely getting the orange in this one. It doesn't reinvent the style or anything, but if you like witbiers (as I do) then you'll find this enjoyable

I was underwhelmed by this brew when I bought two of this and two Adams. So I figure the extra age won't help it much so why not drink it. I'm still aging my Adam though (I definitely preferred the Adam out of the two)
