    I learned that Obsidian Stout and Black Butte Porter have higher ratings than Bourbonic. Maybe I should post an FT: Deschutes shelf beers, ISO: Midwest shelf beers like King Henry...

    Yeah, I'm a little embarrassed by how much this points out that I don't review local beers.

    (Also, by some of the beers that aren't on the list because they don't have even 10 reviews)

    47/50. Look out notorious triple and special herbs, I'm coming for you. As for big woody, I don't suspect I'll be trying that one anytime soon (no homo)

    Something wrong with obsidian? A great single stout in a market flooded with way too many shitty imperials.

    Yeah they did. Jaywalker was one of the best non barrel Impy Stouts around and now it's dead. Like Jacob Marley. Bah.

    If Obsidian stout, one of the most ubiquitous beers to ever crack the BA top 100, was a 20k bottle release once a year it would be even higher. Shit's delicious and always has been.
