Secret Bunny 2012 - Hints

Need some opinions- When should these be landing? There is a brewery only release Im fulling intending on scoring next Sat- 3/31. Should I wail to ship it Monday after that and include one of these bottles or just send it out without it. It would be there Wed/Thurs th4/4-4/5 and be there before Easter. Wait and include or send out without? I know if I was the target, I would think that waiting would have been worth it.

 

I've got the same conundrum (not quite be brewery only though). I think I'm leaning towards waiting, I've got most of the rest of the box lined up, but this one might be a pretty good addition.
I think your target wouldn't mind the wait if its the beer I think it is! Sad that it wouldn't be heading my way unless you were springing for fast/expensive shipping!

 

Alex was awesome enough to put Hunahpu's in my box. If the release had been this weekend (instead of two weeks ago), I would have been just fine with waiting since there was a bottle of pure liquid delight in there. I would imagine your target will feel the same.

 

Wait! As long as your box lands by Easter (4/8), you're completely in the clear on the BIF requirements. Even then, most people would be happy to wait a few days for a killer release.

 

Personally, I would say that the extra wait is worth it for your generosity and good advocacy. That being said if it's me, I'd need to know to set up an alternate address as I'm going to be away for the week after Easter. Wishful thinking on my part!

 

Had it been this weekend, odds are it probably wouldn't have been in the box due to changing jobs! The timing worked out perfect for that.

 

Any final hint for those who might want to be on the look-out today?

 

One final hint:

If the recipient of this package is going to the Electric Dream Machine/ Chemical Toilet concert tonight (with an appearance from an extra special guest), that person may want to wait until the package arrives.

 

I'm not home yet, but I just got confirmation a "big, heavy ass box" was delivered. I'll go ahead and assume that was from you!

Just dropped off my box! It will be delivered Thursday to a state that Neil Young wrote a song about.

 

Finished shopping for my target today. Box will be packed tomorrow and shipped Monday, arriving by end of week.

Next hint: My target's state borders Canada.

IMHO, if my sender was waiting to get something special for me- by god I would be happy!

 

I don't think he'll be complaining if the beer you're looking to get is the release from Allagash. ;-)

 

I've got a big box of Michigan goodies all packed up and ready to go. It will start its journey tomorrow to, arguably, the number one state in the union!

 

Well, I just discovered this thread so haven't posted before. Anyway, in my travels I have picked up a bunch of my target's Wants and every beer in the box will be on my target's Wants list. My target lives in a state that normally has a very cold winter but had very little snow this year.

 

My box is scheduled to be picked up tomorrow and will have a short 2 day journey with FedEx. Only two wants in the box I believe (my target had a difficult wants list for what I could obtain) but there's definitely plenty of goodies in their favorite style within. Also, the brewery "swag" will be coming in a separate shipment directly from the brewery since I was unable to get down there this weekend. Candy is contained within the beer box.

 

Hmmmm I like where you're going with this...

 

I am still slacking this BIF's thread... Second hint: My target's box would travel 1500 miles, MOL, if it took a Steamer and routed through a Bison.
