The one time I've had Assassin at the brewpub was amazing, can't wait to see if Pappy can add anything more to this already great beer!! I'd like to see a few barrels set aside for around 2 years just to see where it can go, since Assassin is only aged about a year?

Assassin is aged for 12-16 months in barrels. Who knows, maybe we'll let a barrel or two sit for 24 months...

You know we are listening! If Mike says we age a couple of the finest for 2 years then so be it! Guys and gals these barrels smell amazing!

Had a nice sample of Assassin late night at Darkness Day this year and was thoroughly impressed by it. Looking forward to simply trying more Toppling Goliath beers in 2013.

    Cheers!

Thanks for the thread! Just in time for me to say we are brewing it tomorrow! 10 hour boil not uncommon for this big boy stout! Even the Pappy barrels will be drooling by the end of the day.
