Moerlein is a local brewery here in Cincinnati. I've never seen that Original Lager at any store, or at the Moerlein Lager House, so I'm gonna go ahead and say that has gotta be a pretty old bottle.

Evidently the "store" on The Bruery website is down/not there. Was impatient and bought from a third party.

I literally walked into the store as the clerk was showing another clerk that there were only three left, stupified I responded "Can I..." and he said "Do you want all three?" In my head, I went on a rampage of celebration. My actual response "Yes please, I would. Thank you."

That's about all the luck I've had thus far!

I am having my third really fresh Stone IPA. I really wanted a beer after a tough day, but didn't want to bust into the cellar, so I went to the nearest liquor store (which is walking distance away, and no, I am not in the ghetto, lol). I thought I was gonna be able to get some more Sucks, but they were out (that's what I get for buying so much). The only fresh IPA they had was 2 week old Stone, so I had to settle. Pretty good, but month old Sucks for the same price would have been much much better.

I am, however, feeling much better about this crappy day.

That explains it. When I purchased their glasses I was planning on buying a pair, maybe four at the most, but six were just so darn reasonable...however, that was quite awhile ago.

I am craving a normal Stout/Porter. Sumpin like SN stout. Bully! porter by Boulevard or even Sam Cream. Nuthin' Imperial, nothing Barrel aged, nothing infused with Vanilla. Just a normal, heartwarming and comforting beer, served in a Brit pint glass. oooooh yeah....

Oaked Arrogant Bastard. Not much different than the original Bastard. So if you think that beer is great (like I do), you'll love this. And if you think Arrogant Bastard sucks, then this brew won't change your mind. I will say though that the woodiness I associate with the Bastard seems more prevalent in the mid-palate in the Oaked version compared to the aftertaste in the regular version.

2012 release. A bit of a sad story. I was going to open one of these the other night, and I set one outside to chill for 10 minutes or so before opening. I get side-tracked by a hockey game and totally forget that the beer was sitting outside in the -3° air. I ended up opening something else, and forgot the bottle out on the porch overnight. Temps reached -12° that night, and needless to say, that beer is no longer with me.

Just the bomber of Great Divide Fresh Hop that I mentioned yesterday. It held up better than the Hercules did (granted it was bottled 2 1/2 months later) but still a little off. I'm going to have to look at whatever IPAs I have left from LetsPour orders and check some dates.
