blue max just got their 1 case, 1 bottle per person

 

Has anyone seen any at any of the Haskell's locations?

 

$6.29 a bottle with a limit of 2 per person at The Cellars in Eagan.

 

Stopped by Surdyk's at 4 pm (I hate going there but it was the closest store to me) and they got it at 2 and it was gone already.

Anyone know if they just sold it by the 6 pack or something? Sounds crazy.

Dude - if you like it, you buy enough to keep some and trade for something else you like - but can't get easy.
If you don't like it - but know it's trade worthy for something you covet, then.....

Well, you know. I can get why some folks don't understand why people will get all crazy and buy up limited release beer just to ship it to other people who do the same thing. Every hobby has its fringe.

 

I guess I'm not the guy to go buy limited beers just to trade them away immediately. Why not leave it on the shelf for the next person who's looking for it to buy?

 

It would be nice if that was the extent of of it - the "fringe" not only buy what is on the shelf at one store, they hit multiple stores and buy up the limited release beers. I still hope to get a bottle of Black note this week at a shop that get's delivery on Friday. We'll see.

 

Trading a beer with my BA friend down the street is way easier than driving around town to get a beer. Some beers I buy just because I know I will be able to trade them in the future for something I won't be able to get. And so the cycle of madness continues...

 

If only everyone would think and act the way that I do, there'd be so much less conflict in the world

 

To be clear, I bought exactly FOUR 12 oz. bottles of this. I have a trade set up for two. I'm keeping two. If anyone is going to have an emotional breakdown over this, or send the crew from A & E's Hoarders to my house, that is also a "fringe".

I have no problem with anyone buying a few extra for trading - but when it comes to driving around & hitting all the shops to end of with cases when I get 1 bottle - yes that pisses me off.

I was lucky to find 1 bottle of BN so far, and yes I would like to end up with at least 4.
