Just wondering. Really wanted to make it to Captain Lawrence today after work. Really despise driving to their new location, though. Will wait for it to hit shelves in sixers, but

How is it? Anyone tried it? Inquiring minds want to know.

Ahh, now that is the question, isn't it? The FB says only today it's on tap, will be in 6ers.

I have a bottle of the Captain Lawrence Imperial IPA I picked up last week, in CT. Was planning on drinking it tonight.

The Imperial has been around since basically the brewery opened. The regular IPA is a brand new beer, at least in bottles anyway. Funny you'd think they would do an IPA first and then branch out to making an Imperial IPA.

Someone post a review when you can! I've been waiting for this. I would think vacarro would make an ipa the way most of us like them!!

Will be checking the usual suspects for these. This was on the DeCicco's Brewster fb page.

anyone actually seen it retail yet? The DeCicco's post was definitely with a "coming soon" line (although that sixer is clearly in the Brewster bar area).

DeCicco's Ardsley posted that they had it in stock earlier this week on Facebook.

Mmm early day today, drinking one now, nice hop profile, light dry hop aroma, spicy, tropical, citrus, and pine in there too. Similar to Troegs Perpetual, but tastier.
