    Don't underestimate a good stuffed roast chicken with haggis. MMM. Makes me miss Old Blackfriars in Aberdeen.

    Today I had a Hopslam, got a bottle of Right Brains Naughty Girl Scout Mint Stout, and decided to pop open one of the one offs from Dark Horse called Mmmm (a Chocolate Rye Porter aged in Rye Whiskey barrels)

    And now, a bittersweet beer. The last in my stash, and the supplies have all dried up in my area. It was without a doubt, my favorite new beer to come along last year, and I'll hate not being able to get any more.

    Just popped this from the "cellar" ( a case of beer under my desk) ~60 degrees in the ale and about 11 outside.
    This was my standout of the holiday season. Sierra Nevada Narwhal.

    Just picked up the new Miles Davis Bootleg Series today. Its been a particularly musical Miles day. Cause I then compared with the first bootleg, now on to Porgy & Bess

    Staying international, after cleansing my palate with some Saltines and water, I am returning to a recently discovered English old ale: Thomas Hardy's Ale...

    Man, I have had some great new beer fortune lately... Jesus, this is good... nothing this drinkable should have an 11+% abv - it's crazy that you don't notice it at all (course it's aged 4 years, so...) - it's like an "insane drinkability" contest, between the Verdi stout from earlier and this old ale...

    Hey, did y'all see/hear the new Alice in Chains yet? Kinda sad/disturbing video, but awesome stuff:
