Has anybody seen any fresh bottles of Flower Power around in Central NJ?

Haven't seen bottles, but the Bridgewater Office has it on tap.

It must have just been tapped. Did you ask how much for a growler? Their growler prices are ridiculously high.

I have some in my fridge that I got from SuperSaver in Somerville not too long ago. It's not insanely fresh but fresh nonetheless.

I've seen it in several places with the case boxes stamped Dec. 04. Damn tasty.

Ritchie & Page -AB house and Ithaca wholesaler for the counties of Monmouth, Mercer, Ocean, Camden, Burlington, etc - told the new big Bottle King in E. Windsor (outside Hightstown) that they had none "in the warehouse" when I inquired for the Xth time.

Sad thing is the other Ithaca beers they have at that BK are all old - in one case, the "Best before" notch was older than the store itself (which has only been open for a couple of months).

Maybe drive north into Middlesex where High Grade is the distributor.

Just found out that same day that they are filling growlers, but like you said way over priced.

Ritchie & Page just delivered 5 cases of Flower Power to Bottle King in E. Windsor, so it's back in stock in their distribution region - bottled on Monday - 1/28/13. (There's four left after I drove away.)

Spirits Brick got some as well. My friends just picked up sixtels kegged then. Guess I'll just have to be happy with my Ballast Point Big Eye kegged Jan 7th. Not bad for traveling cross country.

Not Camden county. Nor does the Camden county AB house have it.

I've pulled all Ithaca from my shelves after learning they base who gets Flower Power on how much Apricot you sell.

You know, I thought it was strange when my homemade list said "Camden" for Ritchie & Page under Ithaca, since they're not the AB house for that county. Wondering where I got that mistaken idea, I just checked Ithaca's Distributors webpage and there it is - BUT they also list "Camden" under AB houses Konrad and Harrison. So, I guess even they're not sure. (They still list "Crown", too, which is the old Monmouth/Ocean AB house that R&P took over a few years back.)

Yeah, I've heard that sort of stuff about Ithaca before (that's Ithaca's policy, not the AB house, right?). Apparently Apricot Wheat is a big seller in Ithaca, but I've seen it "lap itself" as far as the notched "Best before" month (no year) goes sitting on NJ shelves.

When the store opened where I just got the FP, the two Ithaca products they did stock were both at or near the BB date, and it doesn't appear as if much has sold in the 3-4 month since.
