Thank God I finally finished the world class banana and clove flavors of Weihenstephaner hefe weiss bier. Onto a Hollandia euro Lager to wash the horrid taste out of my mouth, then some Dundee Irish Red. Can't wait for the tallboy Schlitz Gusto. May have to play some Stones to rid me of the memory.

I plead the 5th on that one because the Bieb sounds like a hooting seizure and I just learned about Andrew Bird tonight for the first time.

Righteous! I love me some Andrew Bird. He used to play with the Squirrel Nut Zippers some, if you remember them. He's extraordinarily knowledgeable of American heritage music, like 19th and early 20th century folk songs, and actually teaches on the subject sometimes. But as much as I love him, he can be a bit cerebral and a bit of a downer for me to listen to him daily.

I'd recommend starting with Weather Systems, The Mysterious Production of Eggs, and Armchair Apocrypha in any order really, but definitely start with those three and then delve into his other stuff.

Somewhat new to craft beer so Im sampling as much as I can from regional breweries. Hitting up Heavy Seas tonight with Peg Leg (Imperial Stout) which is just okay and Winter Storm, which is an ESB that I am really digging.

Drinking this Old Raspy after a long day in the big city. Very rich with some nice flavors underneath.[IMG]

I usually don't post without a pic in these threads but tonight I had three BMC guys convert to my three twelvelers (sp?) of Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.

I might have better details if not for the Rum and Cokes.....

When are they releasing the 2013 batch?? Had a 2012 this past week from my cellar and it was awesome. Unfortunately I enjoyed it more than the '11 (it's all personal preference) and with alot less floaties.
