Royal Rumble BIF/LIF

^ For the past decade plus, I've watched every PPV (or every PPV I've watched) at a friend's house. He gets them, we go over, chip in for the show, and everybody brings something good to eat/drink. During some of the rough shows, the social gathering aspect of things (and of course the tasty treats) has been the only thing that has gotten us through.

That said, even during some of the lean Rumbles (with many less than stellar participants), it's been easy to keep our attention, due to the "who's coming out next" factor and surprises. (Very rarely are there good surprises, especially because of the 'net now, but I mean guys who haven't been with in a while/have never been with WWE. I don't consider Hacksaw Jim Duggan or Sgt. Slaughter a good surprise.)

Oh, and I was just thinking about side bets (which I guess it's a bit too late to do now), but found this site with lots of interesting info.

I was surprised at some of the guys who've not been in all that many rumbles because they've always been in other (title) matches. To me, other than the world belts, every big name should be in it, even if it decreases the lustre of the undercard. (I can see a guy justifying not wanting to be in the Rumble because he's got a WWE/World title shot that day, but no one else.) Just let the Rumble match go a little longer. (It's not like they have any problem filling time with highlight packages anyway.)

Anyone hear what closes the show, Rumble or WWE Title?

I think the fact that the WWE title match is going to close the show lowers the chance that we get a swerve and Punk retains... unfortunately.
