Feb 23rd is a no go for me, as it's the announced date for the Bruery Reserve Society initiation party. Shucks.

 

Totally forgot about that! Thanks for the heads up. I'm out that day too cause of the RS initiation. Sorry!

 

Seems like there's enough interest to make this happen. Let's get a date and time on the calendar, and start to figure out where to host it.

 

Ton of tasting groups in OC already... SBS, OC Beer Society, plus other even more secret ones.

Also the home of F.U.C.T.

 

OC Beer Society is hardly a secret and just had it's 2nd Annual Chili Cook-off & Bottle-share at Peace Brewing

 

Do these groups advertise their presence on BA/ make events? Is there a Facebook group I can request to join?

Are they even interested in new members? Telling us they exist without providing a means to contact is only half helpful

 

Let's just start our own and keep it secret from them

Oops, I forget about the Bruery Initiation party too! I will be there for that. Maybe 3/2 instead? I can host if people want to come up to Long Beach and if it's not more than 8-10 people, otherwise an OCer will need to step up.

 

Brewluminiti meets the fourth Sunday of the month at Out of the Park, it's mostly a homebrewing group but there is some cross pollination with the other groups
