Your Avatar?

You have to upload again with the new forums. Avatars did not carry over.

 

How does one do that

 

There is a drop down right under your name and one of the options is "Avatar".

 

Thanks, I'm at work my avatar is on my home computer. Thats why I am having an issue. I'm ******ed.

 

Make sure your avatar source image is at least 200x200 pixels for good resolution.

 

At least its easier to upload your avatar, unlike the old forum boards, where it seemed like everyone had to go to someone to modify the avatar image for them.

 

I hope we still get to see jefferz5000's avatar artwork -- those threads were always fun!

 

Mine edited itself when I uploaded it, I thought that was a nice feature.

 

I uploaded my avatar (same as before).. It shows in my profile and here, but when I look at the beer reviews, there are no avatars displayed.
Is this the way it will be?

 

Why is the default a "female" icon?

 

Also, if you have gravatar, you can load it directly without having to upload from your computer. I just logged in with my gmail and my gravatar was loaded up.

Actually, it seems like the default is a ?. If the user has selected their gender, the default matches that selection.

 

Yeah, I believe mine was a question mark before I selected "Male".

The avatar upload process is waaay easier with the new setup but it doesn't appear by my reviews yet. I'm guessing this will be taken care of as the bugs are worked out.

 

Yep, the Bros said this will be something fixed later on.

 

were our old avatars backed up, and will they be written over our current ones?
