It's good and finally has a name now. Looking forward to a bigger batch than the last special release over the summer.

Ohh yah, we had a sixth barrel of this last summer as a consolation prize since our BA Triomphe was over carbed. It was freaking awesome. Nice roast with some fruity Belgian yeast notes. Yum!

I hope the price is a little bit better too. Wasn't it almost $18 a 4 pack at the brewery? Granted, they are 16 oz cans which would run around the same price per oz of Expy or FIS. Either way I can't wait! My favorite from Vivant.

Super excited for this! It is great having Vivant in Chicago now, I missed them after moving from Michigan. Never had this one, but Escoffier was one of my favorite beers last year.

I'll hope it will be less, but I bet it will be in the $15 range.

An update on this that Vivant just posted on their Facebook page:

Still sounds pretty good to me.

So the Plow Horse stout took a sour/tart turn? If that's the case, there should be plenty of cans available since it should have been a full batch. Count me in.

Not a huge fan when breweries brew a beer, it goes sour, then they still sell it as it usually doesn't turn out well. Guess we'll have to see...

So upset I bought 4 of the bottles the day after 4elf. I haven't even opened one yet but it doesn't sound like it'll be pretty.

What do you want them to do? Drain pour it? If it didnt turn out like its supposed to, but turned into a different good beer, I have no problem with them doing what they are doing.

If it is a good beer. That's all I'm saying is it usually isn't.

And yes, a lot of breweries dump the product if it gets infected... err yeast does different things than expected.

I would probably plow a horse for a six pack of this.

They come in 4's, so leave the horse alone.
