nothing spectacular, but in my quest to get back into beer, this is not bad for me:

    Samuel Smith's Nut Brown Ale
    Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout
    Duvel

I know this might shock some fellow Beer Advocates, but every now and then I treat my wallet to something other than beer!!!

...That being said, I always grab a nice 4/6 pack to go along with whatever haul I make that particular week. In this particular case, a 4 pack of diesel went quite well with some ice cold checking and batman ass kicking!

Loooove me some Old Speckled Hen. Also, if you're a fan of both Sam Smith's and Chocolate Stouts, then I recommend you seek out their Organic Chocolate stout. It's quite tasty!

Excuse me...ahem...let me go vomit with jealousy then proceed to beat my head against the wall for 5 minutes straight because I live on the east coast. BRB.

Probably won't make it to Santa Rosa on Friday for the PtY release, so I headed up tonight instead to stock up for the flight home:

Alright, so while all the sours are coming back in my bag, the majority of the x24 Plinys are going to a buddy in the SF area.

A local store had five bottles in the back and the owner offered them all to me without any prompting. There isn't a huge craft movement in my town so these bottles most likely stayed under the radar for quite a while.

    St. Peter's Cream Stout
St. Peter's Gluten Free Beer (Sounded interesting)
    St. Peter's Fruit Beer Grapefruit
    Green Flash Palate Wrecker
    3 Fonteinen Oude Geuze
    Thomas Hardy's Ale
    De Ranke XX Bitter
    Lagunitas Sucks
    Harviestoun Old Engine Oil
    Ballast Point Victory at Sea

    *Not Pictured
Ballast Point Sculpin. Drank it last night, and returned the bottle.
Buffalo Trace Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Not beer I know, but a lot of BA's seem to like whiskies and bourbons. The first bourbon I have had that wasn't Jim Beam, Evan Williams or Jack Daniels. So far it is excellent.
