Deep Ellum IPA is the 1st beer being canned... today I believe.

    Thanks for the link!

That's completely badass! Their cans look badass as well!

I don't get it. Will they discontinue bottling?

I totally agree. Those are some nice looking cans.

I googled and found an article RE: their second hand bottling line. Apparently they've been having quite a bit of trouble with it tossing bottles and product everywhere.

I'd guess they'd can everything besides limited releases... especially since it pumps up this second business of theirs as well. But who knows.

The green reminds me of being a kid for some reason... everything was neon in the late 80's early 90's.

My buddy lives there, and was telling me about that a few weeks back. Interesting that it's in the middle of nowhere.

Steve Anderson mentioned he worked at the first brewpub in Texas but did not name it. Anyone out there know where he worked?

Had some more Live Oak Hef tonight.. it really is the best Hef I've had.... so much better than No Labels... and I like it a little more than Karbach's Weisse Versa.. which I know isn't quite traditional..

This was the closest thing I could find to a Live Oak thread...

They're expanding... no bottling yet though:

I noticed this also. With the new law changes they can now distribute their beers. Really excited for the day they start bottling/canning.

I was at the brewery a few weeks ago and asked about bottling. They said that all of their money is tied up in the new brewery they building, and that bottling wont happen until the expansion is complete.
