Maybe the next American craft beer innovation will be to make cloudy Bohemian Pils?

I'm a sucker for hazy IPAs, as well as crystal clear pilsners.

The pils just look so refreshing, the cloudy IPAs disperse light beautifully and have an alluring glow.

Can't go wrong with either :grinning:

I would seriously facepalm if Unfiltered Kristalweizen appeared on a label.

we already have unfiltered Czech pils...just a matter of pushing the envelope. Creativity and experimentation are second only to more flavor.

The pale ale is the beer goddess of beauty - this tripel is soft and golden with fluffy, lacy head...

Black ales, porters, and stouts are great and all, but once you go black...
Amber ales, like this old ale... snow-white head, and that amber-orange color! Oh, my!
Least fave: brown ales - meh...

There's nothing wrong with cloudy lager.

Love the golden, orange look of west coast ipas like sculpin for example. Beautiful bright color along with a frothy, sudsy head. Those little bubbles remind you of why beer looked so appealing when you were in your youth.

I love the look of a properly poured Duvel into a Duvel glass. Keep the yeast in the bottle and look at the beautiful head and the bubbles rise from the nucleation point on the bottom.

Quite literally; this is my desktop background photo.

That said....I do love those 3 German gals....the authentic ones. I'd look for that gal in the front as well!

I dropped into Alla Spina tonight (Center City Philadephia)
They have a couple house beers that are crafted specifically for the restaurant by Victory ...
Their "Hundred Horse Chestnut" (chestnut is an ingredient) served in an Alla Spina branded Teku glass was as much eye candy as it was delicious. It has a perfectly clear, deep reddish brown - actually truly 'chestnut' color
I tried to take a picture, but the lighting was a bit dark ... Sorry!

Doesn't really conform to style, but I think it looks like sex in a glass. And I bet most of you will disagree with me.

Belgian pale ale (Duvel) is hard to beat ... though those bocks on this thread look damn fine.

Well-crafted Belgian Strong Dark Ales and Quads are my favorite beers to look at. The creamy, incredibly persistent head/retention/body can be quite striking.

While not my favorite to drink by any means, it's appearance was my favorite thing about it.

I remember King Henry having a particularly beautiful look. Otherwise, like many others, I love beautiful stouts.
