Just saw this in my local beer store in NW Ohio and hadn't heard anything about it or seen it on the website. Just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about it or how far its reached

no worries. I googled it and couldnt find anything on it, not even on the arcadia website. The store had 8 cases of it sitting out, so i went ahead and bought 2 of the beers.

I believe this is the batch that won gold at GABF a few years ago.

22oz. They used to bottle Big Dicks, Cereal Killer and Shipwreck in them.

This is a "Special Edition" of Cereal Killer in 22 oz bottles. I saw it at the brewery last week and bought a couple of them. ($8.99 + tax & dep. per bottle) I don't know why the brewery is being so quiet about details of this beer. A sign posted on the wall above the bottles says it is Cereal Killer that has been aged 3 years, but no details about the aging. However, it is not aged in bourbon barrels because I've opened one of my bottles already, and it is delicious, but no bourbon flavor.

It is not the Cereal Killer that took a gold at the GABF 4-5 years ago because that one was bourbon barrel aged. (The release of BBA Cereal Killer about a month ago in 12 oz. bottles is the same one that won the GABF gold.) So this one is just their normal Cereal Killer, but with some age on it.

I don't know for sure, but I'm guessing its just the 2009 vintage Cereal Killer wax dipped and relabeled. Those bottles were popping up around Kalamazoo and they had them for sale at their anniversary party this year. That price point is about right too. I'm guessing they just repackaged them for marketing purposes.

No one wants to trade for a bottle of Fridge Aged CBS that is forced to look at your man cleavage every time the fridge door opens, dawg.

I found a couple bottles of this yesterday.....definitely not BB aged after having one last night. It's really good stuff though, I was getting hints of black currants and sweet pomegranate flavors.
