Trying out Simple Malt Fumée Massive by Brasseurs Illimités. The aroma reminds me of Ardbeg or other Islay scotch and the flavor is a bit more balanced, my monthly smoke bomb.

Which do you prefer? Or do you prefer both? Haven't had PtY, but I would say that "both" is an acceptable answer.

Obviously the HT tasted fresher since it actually is and is from a can. They are both so damn good, the HT is more resin-y and the Pliny more hoppy and piney. All I can say is PtY is SUCH a palate wrecker. I couldn't taste PtE or Sixpoint Resin the times I followed them after Younger.

Uncle Steve's needs more love! What a fantastic Irish Stout. I'm drinking a 2010 Madrugada Obscura and I'm afraid to admit, am close to drain pouring. Simply not my thing.
