Epicurious: Coors Light "best canned beer"

They should have waited and put this out on the first day of April!

 

A) $8.59 for a 6 pack isn't alot, plus I can get SN for $6.99/6 pack pretty readily and SN is available in all 50 states
B) this might as well be comparing Arrowhead, Crystal Geyser, Aquafina, Dasani, etc. all taste the same

 

When a beer is in aluminum form (like the Coors 16 oz stubby shape I'm having right now) is it a can or a bottle?

 

Oskar Blues all the way. Although I have drank and pissed a sixer of Coors Light in an hour.

 

I just saw this on Yahoo. These guys have no clue what they're talking about. Natural Light came in fourth place?, Welp, There goes any credibility those "Advocates" had!. Don't get me wrong, None of those beers are any good, But PBR is loads better than Natural Light.

 

Actually Bud Light, Budweiser and Miller Lite topped Coors Light in sales in 2012...but who's counting?

I can't even bring myself to drink coors light.... let alone enjoy it............ there are so many other AAL's out there that have a bad rap................... lifes short................try them all....................

But for Domestic you have a great argument, id put Coors Original just ahead but they're basically neck and neck in my opinion!

I love the delicate refreshing taste of beer flavored carbonated water!

 

I'm convinced those who prefer Coors Light don't really like beer. They just need something that is cold and flavorless.

 

Even speaking not as a beer advocate, Coors is by far the worst of the big three. What little taste it has is tinny and oddly urine-like. It is beyond revolting. In terms of shitty canned macro lagers (excluding Yuengling), High Life is the best, followed by PBR and Miller Lite.

 

That Jai Alai is looking really good right about now. I still need to try it.

 

I'm not sure that their numbers are right. Everything I've seen puts Bud at #3 and Coors Light at #2 now. Here is an article from Ad Age about it from early 2012:

If Ad Age's numbers are no longer accurate then that means that either Bud's sales spiked or CL's collapsed but I don't think either of those are true. I wonder where your link got their numbers from. I'd really like to see the source info for that. I'm just genuinely curious about this.

Yup, it may have all of those "characteristics", but it's missing one thing....A BEER TASTE!!!

 

But remember it's "LITE " so it only has a lite flavor of beer.
