'05 was extremely charry. It was like GI wasn't quite there yet.

'06 on the other hand was exactly how I'd imagine an almost six year old BCBS would taste. This seems to be the vintage where they really set the tone.

In all though, they were both spectacular and holding up beautifully, though I'll still take '08 as my favorite vintage, followed closely by '11.

I've been to a great beer bar I didn't know about so far. It has awsome selection and service and it's only a 30 minutes drive from where I live. They let me take home a nice haul (at lower prices than those pictured) with some real treats. Enjoy:

    - Short's Huma Lupa Licious
    - Montegioco Dolii Raptorbach: a sort of barrel aged Italian oud bruin
    - Lagunitas Maximus
    - Lagunitas IPA
    - Struise Motuecha
    - Mikkeller Over All IIPA

    - A nice selection of the Dieu du Ciel lineup. From left to right: Rescousse, Derniere Volonte, Route des Epices, Blanche du Paradis, Rosèe d'Hibiscus, Charbonniere, Aphrodisiaque, Corne du Diable, Peche Mortel, Rigor Mortis

    And, finally, some Narke brews..

Nice, Fayston is so damn good, still haven't tried double sunshine but someday! Barleywine sounds amazing.

Grabbed a FW XV, FW Sucaba, Oak Aged Yeti and 4 pack of Palate Wrecker today. Not sure which of the first 3 to dig into first.

The new logo is awesome! I have the pint glass with the same logo. It was filled with chocolate camero.

    Your avatar makes me thirsty!

    -2 Vanilla DA
    -4 Baklava Braggot

I'm definitely taking one of each to share at DLD and one of my co-workers is interested in some Kentucky Monk so I'll probably give him a bottle.

Nice haul. I have 4/5 of those beers sitting in my cellar right now and I'm currently drinking the other (Billy the Mountain).
