Aww...come on! You are a Canuck lover now! I heard Bobby Lou will require a vaginal rub down after each game. Plus, the beer will taste that much better when the 2/7 seed is Van/SJ, yeah? :sunglasses:

That's a good plan. And I promise that mine will be pro team not anti other team. I do have standards.

Well, I'm officially in this (at least for now). If the Sharks play like they did against the Avalanche tonight, they'll have no problem making the playoffs. It's refreshing to see this team play like I know they can play. Keep it up boys!

I think the beer will taste better knowing that you got it from a Shark traitor too. Although, right now it would be us, and it just doesn't fit what should happen in the story.

Yes it could be a case of PBR and it would taste so sweet....But I'd take any beer at this point. I didn't even think they'd make it a couple of days ago, and I'm one of the most optimistic fans out there. I'm feeling better now though!

I wonder how many slashes to the back of the legs big Joe would get for putting Toews out with a concussion in that series.

Whos the sharks traitor? Cause it sure fucking isnt me. Im a die hard sharks fan. So what if I picked the fucking stupid Canucks for this BIF. I couldnt get the sharks. Im going to be laughing when my 3rd place Sharks knock your stupid fucking 6th place Blackhawks out in the first round. Also Ill be more than happy to ship lithum94 some good beers if the Sharks face the Canucks in the playoffs.

    And so it begins.....

Stage 1: I hate the Canucks and am the biggest Sharks fan!
Stage 2: Screw you asshole Blackhawks fan!

    Upcoming stages:
Stage 3: I won't feel so badly if the Canucks win the Cup because I will win beer
Stage 4: I'm so bummed that I chose the Canucks in this stupid thing.
Stage 5: I can't believe I went against my fandom and picked those whining, diving, hair-pulling, twits. I'm sorry I yelled at all of you.

Realistically my Sharks and the Canucks always blow it so im going to be super pissed off by the time playoffs come to an end. I should have just picked Florida because I could give a fuck whether they win or lose.

Hahaha...it was all in good fun. BTW, not sure how familiar you are, but those are the stages of grief.

I would have taken the Devils if the Hawks were gone. No real hatred there. What I wouldn't give to have Brodeur between the pipes instead of Crawford.....ugh.

Hes getting old though. Great goalie but he cant have too much left in him. Niemi better make that Nabby Nemo decision look good. We could use the goal tending he gave you guys when you won the cup.

Actually, he was slightly above average, statistically speaking. With the number of shots the defense was giving up in '10, it was more rare for him to have to win a game for the team than for the defense to come up huge. Was he good? Of course....they won it all. But, he was far from the reason. The team defense was amazing, something that has let them down this year at many times. Emery is limited in what he can give and Crawford has been flat out bad at times this year. My hope is that he can figure something out and become a shade of what he was last year in the playoffs.

I cannot really tell you why the Sharks have underperformed in the playoffs the last few years. The '10 series between the Hawks/Sharks was super tight, even though it wasn't on the win/loss sheet. It baffles me.

Sharks just always disappoint. One of these years we will turn that around. Sharks are currently the second team with most consecutive playoff appearances (far behind the Redwings).

Can I like half of a post and dislike the other half? GET ON IT BROS!!!

Edit: Although I will say, that was one amazing season for the flyers. Get in on a shootout (that we have historically been horrible in), beat the devils and marty who I hate with a passion, got to game 4 of the bruins series despite living in chicago, beat the bruins, beat the habs, then played admirably in the cup finals. It killed me to lose, but it was one hell of a season, and at that point our mediocre goalie duo sort of showed itself.
