deciding between southern tier eurotrash pilz, southampton keller pils, mayflower spring hop, or all 3.

leaning toward the 2 pilsners, but want to hit the spring hop as fresh as possible (already sat on the pilsners too long). noticed recently that i'm often in a pilsner mood, but don't seem to keep the fridge stocked with appropriate beers. my new beer goal is to find 3 standby pilsners in 12oz bottles.

Starting with an Ayinger Celebrator, likely to be followed by another Ayinger Celebrator. Delicious.

Not sure of distribution to Connecticut, but PA has you covered with three really solid Pils: Victory Prima Pils; Stoudts Pils; and Sly Fox Pikeland Pils.

And now that I've had some, it's going to be hard to keep that other bottle in my closet. This has aged incredibly well, especially for it only having a year on it. The hops and alcohol have taken a step back and there's a ton of caramel, candied citrus and spice to it. Amazing!

thanks for the recommendations. i've had prima pils and liked it a lot, but don't seem to be drawn back to it.

from the reviews, stoudts pils looks like it might be exactly what i've been craving. not sure why i haven't tried it yet.

no sly fox in CT :slight_frown:. if i'm in NYC again any time soon i'll check them out though.

They're my favorite glasses. And I love the fact that those are the glasses they use at the brewery. And their growlers are giant mason jars!

Oh what! I'm taking a brewery road trip down the coast this summer, from up here in Seattle and ending in San Diego, I've gotta get my hands on one of those growlers, sounds awesome!

Trying to lay off while I write my final paper for class, even though I suspect a beer or two would make this a lot more interesting!
