What beer are you drinking now? #107

Since there was a Founders variety pack at the super bowl party last night (plus my sixer of Nugget Nectar), I figured I'd save my Victory at Sea for tonight, and glad I did! This stuff is so, so delicious! Even my lady likes it, and she normally loathes any type of dark, roasty beer (she said she's digging the vanilla). That's her Sly Fox Raspberry Reserve on the right. Cheers everyone!

 

It was a covert operation, I had to go undercover.

 

Not too shabby. Prefer it over non Oaked for sure

 

Tastes like a Smore's Barleywine..... good stuff so smooth. That 10.5% will sneak up on you and hit you with a roundhouse to the head. Cheers!

I wish I could say it was the best Imperial Stout evah but the 12% abv is too darn noticeable.

Alka-Seltzer Plus Night Cold Formula. Lots of carbonation but no head and it tastes like $h!). Now of to bed to try and kick this this damned head cold.

 

Fantastic beer for a shitty Monday.

 

More of the Snake River Imperial Stout in my glass. If I EVER finish the Growler, which I'm sure I will, I have another Growler of Ivan The Terrible to tackle. Can I get an MVP nomination of some sorts?

 

That there is a seriously good Barley Wine style ale!
